Pamela Taylor-Barnett,
Nominee of the University of NSW
Pamela is a senior lecturer at the University of New South Wales in the Faculty of Law and Justice, where she teaches in the Graduate Diploma of Legal Professional Practice. She has previously practised in several Victorian Community Legal Centres and has led longitudinal research and evaluation of an integrated justice practice in regional Australia. Her research considers questions of effective models of lawyering to enhance access to justice. She is interested in empowering students to follow their values, contribute to social justice, and to speak up when they see something wrong.
