Board Appointed Pro Bono Expert

Stephen is a Special Counsel & Manager of Pro Bono & Responsible Business in Barry Nilsson’s Impact Project team based in Melbourne. The Impact Project includes the firm’s national pro bono practice and responsible business program. Stephen is responsible for developing and managing BN’s pro bono practice, as well as the firm’s Reconciliation Action Plan. Stephen is also undertaking a pro bono secondment with a community legal centre. Stephen is passionate about diversity & inclusion and he is an active member of BN’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Prior to joining BN, Stephen worked as a senior associate in the pro bono practice of a global law firm and a judge’s associate with the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
