Andrew Cameron,
Senior Policy and Project Officer
On Secondment from Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department
Andrew is seconded to the Australian Pro Bono Centre from the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department. Andrew works across all areas of the Centre’s activities, including in the development of resources published by the Centre.
Andrew has worked for the Attorney-General’s Department for over 5 years in various roles. Most recently Andrew was involved in delivering international development assistance in the Pacific in support of law and justice capacity building, and prior to this was responsible for the management of the Commonwealth’s Legal Services Panel, the Australian Government’s central legal services procurement arrangement. Prior to working for the Attorney-General’s Department Andrew worked for over 10 years as a litigation lawyer in Western Australia and Canberra, with experience in insolvency, commercial and employment disputes, and native title.
Andrew has experience in providing pro bono services in a range of legal matters, and was an editorial committee member for the Law Society of WA’s Brief magazine. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia.
