Dr Jane Parkin,
Senior Policy and Project Manager

Jane Parkin is Senior Policy and Project Manager at the Australian Pro Bono Centre. She is based in Melbourne.

Jane was admitted to legal practice in Victoria in 2009. Following her admission she worked as a commercial lawyer, with a focus on intellectual property matters.

Immediately prior to joining the Centre, Jane held the position of Manager – Policy and Projects at the Law Institute of Victoria. During her time at the LIV, she worked with a team of policy professionals, engaging in research to drive advocacy and, ultimately, law reform in the State of Victoria.

Jane has completed a PhD and holds a Master of Studies in copyright law from the University of Oxford. She also holds a Master of Laws, a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne.
