On the Site: What is Pro Bono?
In the first in an ongoing series, we direct you to information and resources on our website you may not have seen.
In What is Pro Bono?, the Centre discusses the nature of “pro bono” itself, with information suitable for everyone from students looking at the phrase for the first time, to lawyers undertaking pro bono.
The page includes the Centre’s definition of pro bono, which is the most widely used and accepted across Australia, including in the National Pro Bono Aspirational Target and the National Law Firm Pro Bono Survey. It also looks at why defining pro bono is important.
