New South Wales and Queensland
Flood Response
The legal assistance and pro bono sectors will be providing legal services to those affected by the devastating floods on the Far North Coast of NSW and in Queensland.
While it is too soon to know precisely the level of legal support required, the floods are being treated as a major disaster that will be resource intensive over an extended period of time. We expect to see an increase in insurance claims, tenancy disputes, employment related issues and small business issues, amongst other matters.
