Queensland solicitors report 290,000 hours of pro bono work in 2015-2016

Four thousand solicitors in Queensland (out of a total of 11,000) reported doing 290,000 hours of pro bono work in the 2015-2016 year.

Professor George Williams AO has been the Dean of the UNSW Faculty of Law since June this year. But perhaps less known about his career is the large amount of pro bono legal work that he has done since being admitted to the NSW Bar just over twenty years ago.
