Centre gains a new Sally
We are pleased to welcome Sally Embelton to the role of Policy and Project Officer at the Centre. Sally started in the role on 13 March 2019 after working for the past three years in Australian Government Solicitor’s Dispute Resolution practice group in Sydney.
Hailing originally from Queensland, Sally has many years of experience working and volunteering within the access to justice sector, including at the Refugee and Immigration Legal Service, Caxton Legal Centre, and LawRight in Brisbane. As a student, Sally also interned at the Australian Law Reform Commission and volunteered with the Australian Red Cross.
Sally holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland. Sally is committed to improving access to justice for socially disadvantaged people, and is excited to be working at the Centre to promote pro bono within the Australian legal profession.
